The Gaynor Family Regional Library is a dream that’s been brought to life by families living in the City of Selkirk, RM of St. Andrews, RM of St. Clements, the Village of Dunnottar and nearby rural areas. Over the last 13 years, you’ve made your library a flourishing community hub that brings together people
of all ages and backgrounds from across our region.
You’ve made the Library your living room, rec room, café, event centre, office, classroom, study hall and meeting place. You’ve made it your home away from home and while it’s more than ‘just a library’, it’s still the place you can find the latest releases from your favourite authors and discover new voices and perspectives.
The Library means so much to folks in this community because
YOU are the ones who created it.
Everyone has a favourite Library story. We understand the importance, power and beauty of being on a lifelong journey with books and want to ensure the current and next generations can have their lives enriched and expanded the same way.
The Story Continues Library Expansion Campaign is a $2.5 million project, with the municipalities contributing $1.2 million to purchase the additional space.
We are looking to community to invest $1.3 million to complete the project.
